All templates and premium components purchased from COMPScout come with a simple, commercial-friendly license. We want you to build amazing things without worrying about complex legal terms.
1. What you CAN do
- Commercial Use: You can use the templates and components in an unlimited number of personal and commercial projects (e.g., your own SaaS, a client's website, an internal dashboard).
- Modifications: You can completely modify, customize, and integrate the source code into your own applications as you see fit.
- Client Work: You can build projects for your clients using our components and charge them for your services.
2. What you CANNOT do
- Redistribution: You cannot redistribute, resell, or lease the raw source code of our templates or components, even for free.
- Client Resale: If you build a project for a client, your client is strictly prohibited from reselling, redistributing, or selling the template as a standalone product. The template must be delivered as part of a finished end-product.
- Direct Competitors: You cannot use our code to build a competing product, such as another UI component library, template marketplace, or theme generator.
- Open Source: You cannot publish the premium source code in a public open-source repository (e.g., a public GitHub repository) where anyone can download it.
3. Enforcement
If you violate the terms of this license, your access to the templates and updates will be immediately revoked without a refund. We actively monitor the web for unauthorized redistribution of our premium components.
